Here we go, again!
We are upon the season of transition again! Moving! Orders, boxes, trucks and moving chaos surrounds us. But in the midst of all the craziness of PCSing, we can grab a hold of our sanity through prayer and trusting that God has placed you in this season, for a purpose.
I pray that during this time of moving your family and all of those HHG to your new duty station, that you will embrace the perspective that you have been given a NEW opportunity to plant your roots deep and thrive!
I know that making new friends, finding a new church, joining a new bible study and moving into a new house, just to mention a few, can be challenging, but look at it this way. God has placed you there for purpose. What an amazing time to come into a season where more growth will take place in your life. Pray about every area of this upcoming move and that God will lead you to the relationships and community that He desires for you and your family. He is faithful to do it!
Proverbs 3:5-6 (NASB)
Trust in the Lord with all your heart
And do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him,
And He will make your path straight.
Be encouraged and know that God has gone before you. He has prepared a place for you spiritually, as well as physically.
I pray for His grace to help you work through all the details of establishing your new home and making it yours whether it’s for the first or the fiftieth time during your military journey.
So, as you unpack those boxes and hang those curtains, remember, with new beginnings comes new possibilities. Even, if your favorite piece of furniture doesn’t arrive in all it’s pieces, look to the God of peace and all will be well.
