Prayer for Single Warriors Based on Psalm 20

God of the heavenly armies,Â
Please be with our single warriors today.
Watch over the new recruits, the young, the inexperienced.
Draw them close.
We pray for them.
May the Lord answer you when you are in distress;
may the name of the God of Jacob protect you.
Lord may they learn to rely on you from the start, for every need.
May he send you help from the sanctuary
and grant you support from Zion.
We pray for good battle buddies, Lord. May they push each other to be better. May they encourage each other in You.
And we pray for future spouses. May new families be formed to bring you glory.
May he remember all your sacrifices and accept your burnt offerings.
May he give you the desire of your heart
and make all your plans succeed.
We pray for the many goals they have in their lives. May the paperwork be right, may the systems work, and may they have the time and energy for schools. Strengthen their bodies for their physical training.Â
May we shout for joy over your victory
and lift up our banners in the name of our God.
May the Lord grant all your requests.
Lord, we pray for success in their missions and in their careers. May they see you at work in every step. More than anything, we pray they will grow in their love for you.
Some trust in chariots and some in horses,
but we trust in the name of the Lord our God.
We Thank You, Lord
Lord, we thank you for the many great things you have given our forces, including these willing young people. We would be nothing without you. You give wisdom for good plans. You give strength for the fight. You sharpen the instincts. You teach the skills.Â
And you hold the ultimate victory!Â
