Monica is an Army brat, an Army veteran (Rock of the Marne!) and now an Army spouse with two boys. She is a government and industry award-winning journalist, columnist and photographer, with experience as a videographer, guest blogger, editor, social media manager, speaker and event designer/coordinator – who wears ballgowns on training holidays.

Monica and her husband love trying new foods and are taking full advantage of the Army’s travel opportunities (moving) to experience new culinary delights. Their family has lived in Fort Knox, Camp Red Cloud Korea, Fort Bliss, Camp Humphreys Korea and now Hunter Army Airfield in Savannah, Ga.

Her hope through her life is to be able to see where God is working and join Him in his work – ball gown optional.
