I am wife to an Airman and mom to three rambunctious little boys. With excitement on a daily basis and grace around every corner, I believe we are meant to live this life in community with others and with the mercy to mess up and try again….and again.  Being a mom is hard, but it is also one of the greatest callings we can have in this life. My heart’s passion is that we learn to glorify our Creator in our parenting, our marriage, and in our everyday lives. When I am not writing, I can often be found grabbing a cup of much-needed coffee, at the ball field with my boys, or singing way too loud to K-Love radio.

I am blog at www.amommasjoy.com and am the author of the soon-to-release mommy devotional A Gospel Christmas. Through my writing and speaking I strive to help today’s mom discover the joy found in stepping forward into the calling God has for them as a mother. I want to come alongside women just like myself, and help them put down the vacuum to be fully present in the daily moments with their children.

I grew up a pastor’s kid and ministry has always been a big part of my life. I began sensing God’s call to women’s ministry several years ago. God is constantly shaping and molding me. Some lessons come easy, and some He has to knock me over my thick skull to get me to pay attention. One thing I know, I am lavishly loved my the most beautiful God. I am bless far beyond what I could ever deserve. And I am truly honored to be used by my King.
