Amber Malquist is a woman deeply rooted in her faith. When the Lord transformed her life in 2013, He placed a strong desire within her to share His truths and the hope of Jesus. She feels He has called her to express that desire through the written word, and she often uses her photography to highlight the beauty of His creation.

Amber was an Air Force wife for sixteen years, but now enjoys post-retirement life with her husband, Ray, who works as a contractor on Robins Air Force Base in Warner Robins, Georgia. They have been married for 27 years. Together, they raised three sons and have since added a daughter-in-law.

Amber has served faithfully in ministry for twelve years in various capacities. Her ministry journey began with PWOC and she has served in multiple women’s ministries and children’s ministries over the years. She spent some time working as a ministry assistant at her church and now serves there as a volunteer on a regular basis. Amber has been writing devotionally on social media for over ten years, often drawing from her personal testimony which is full of examples of how good and faithful our God is.

In her free time, Amber enjoys spending time outside. Whether taking an evening stroll with her family, gardening in her backyard, watching birds, or listening to music on the deck with her husband, she finds joy in the simple things in life.
