Kathy is an Army brat and Army wife who was tickled to get to follow in her mother’s footsteps. She’s the ‘way youngest’ of four and heard great stories of military experiences they had before her dad retired when she was young.
Husband Jim, spent 38 years between active duty and civil service with Alaska, Germany and Hawaii and New Orleans as favorite assignments.
Kathy jokes that she was dragged to PWOC to against her will! She found a lot more than caring Godly women, she found a passion for connecting women to their gifts and to each other for this journey called life.
She’s been known to do crazy things in the name of Jesus and has never met a stranger.
She’s served in women’s ministry leadership for 30 years and looks forward to helping raise up young leaders in Planting Roots. She’s excited to be serving along several women from past assignments
She and Jim have three married children, and three granddaughters. She enjoys hosting Fellowship events in her home, travel with Jim, having Nana Camp with the grands each visit and cheering on the Georgia Bulldogs.
