Stacie is originally from Charlotte, NC, a true Southern girl born and bred in the home of Nascar! She met and married her husband Steve in the church she grew up in, Eastway Dr. Church of God. They have been married for 30 years. They married the day Steve graduated from Army basic training in May of 1991. Steve joined the Army the day the invasion in Iraq changed from Desert Shield to Desert Storm. They have lived in 9 states and have been stationed once in Stuttgart, Germany. In addition to multiple military moves, she has experienced numerous military deployments as her husband has been to Iraq twice, Afghanistan twice, Korea twice, numerous military trainings, and to Nicaragua. Steve continues to serve in the active-duty Army but will be retiring this summer. They have one son, Caleb who is 23 and is presently attending law school at Ole Miss. She also has a beloved fur baby, a golden retriever named, ‘sweet baby Jade’! Jade is 7 years old.

Stacie has been involved in military women’s ministry for over 20 years. She has served in numerous ministry positions within Protestant Women of the Chapel. She has a bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Kansas State University and a Master’s degree in Leadership in Ministry to Women from Grace College in Winona Lake, Indiana.

Stacie enjoys waking up with Jesus and a good cup of coffee, walking her dog, attending fitness classes, going to see a good movie with popcorn and Goobers of course, and reading spiritual growth-related books. She is passionate about Bible study, prayer, facilitating group Christ-centered conversation, developing discipleship, mentoring relationships, and encouraging women through military moves and deployments. Her ultimate aim is to encourage and equip women to follow hard after Christ! It is her greatest desire to participate in the coming of God’s kingdom to reign in the hearts and lives of God’s girls all for His kingdom and glory!
