Kasey Raia Stout serves as the Deputy Director of Events for Planting Roots. After graduating from the United States Air Force Academy (USAFA) in 2018, she was commissioned as a Force Support Officer. She and her husband Tyler, who is also Active Duty Air Force, are currently stationed at Altus AFB in Oklahoma.

Kasey has a heart for ministry! Upon graduating high school, her first exposure to ministry was working as a church youth leader for three years. Next, she had the opportunity to do a semester-long internship with The City Mission; a Christian non-profit organization in Cleveland, OH where she was the Youth and Family Programming Assistant.

While attending USAFA, Kasey started a cadet women’s Bible study called Relentless Love. She also led the USAFA Officer Christian Fellowship (OCF) chapter her “firstie” (senior) year. In the Fall of 2021, she graduated seminary and received her Master of Divinity degree from Liberty University, with a focus in Global Studies. With Kasey joining the Planting Roots team, God’s calling on her life of both the military and ministry continues to develop and evolve.

Born and raised in Colorado Springs, CO, Kasey loves the mountains. She enjoys hiking, reading, running, coaching or playing volleyball, and spending time with the people she loves. In their free time, she and Tyler can be found playing cribbage, hanging out at coffee shops, playing ping pong, or exploring new places.
