I have talked to several women lately who long to make a difference in the lives of others. They keep waiting and asking the Lord when and where He will use them for his glory. I have experienced that myself. I sometimes feel like the Lord is preparing me for something, but I’m not sure what the “something” is going to be. I wait and wait for that to be revealed.

Meanwhile, my children want dinner and there are mountains of laundry to be done. Oh, and the floors need to be mopped and the bills need to be paid. Perhaps that “something” will have to wait.

What if my day-to-day life IS the something…

Perlaundry photohaps feeding my children, doing the laundry, mopping the floors and paying the bills does glorify the Lord.

Maybe your real life includes different tasks than mine does, but what you are doing matters. We would all love to do something “big” for the Lord, but perhaps being faithful in your day-to-day is what He is asking of you.

Friends, people are watching you. You can honor God as you go about your regular life. What may feel like something small could be a big example to someone who is watching.

Who is watching you? How are you glorifying God in front of them?
